Sam is a queer trans man who's been drawing comics since he was a little girl. He lives in New Zealand with his partner and their cat. He's had in national and international publications including Gender Outlaws: The Next Generation, DUDE, Salacious Magazine, and one time Original Plumbing did a little story about him, and that was really cool.. He draws an autobio webcomic called Rooster Tails about him, his genderqueer partner joe, and their cat living in Auckland, New Zealand and being big ol' queers. In 2014 he printed the first three issue of Family Portraits after an extremely successful kickstarter. Family Portraits captures the stories of a group of New Zealand people with a range of different ‘rainbow’ identities. It celebrates the many different stories we have and is a first-of-it’s-kind in New Zealand (as far as he’s aware).
