Prism Stands in Solidarity With Black Lives

We should never forget that Pride Month was possible due to the strength and tenacity of the Black queer & trans community.

And today, we are consistently reminded of the injustice and inequality that still affects the same communities today.  As an organization, we cannot be silent and stand on the sidelines while our Black brothers and sisters are dying in the streets.

We are united in our grief and our determination to advocate for a better and more just community. We stand in solidarity with activists and organizers who call for justice for George Floyd, Tony McDade, Breonna Taylor, Nina Pop, Amhaud Arbery, and so many others.

We promise to support and speak out for Black lives. And grow as an organization, designed to uplift the voices of marginalized and forgotten.
