Check it out! George Gene Gustines of the New York Times featured Prism Comics, our esteemed President Charles “Zan” Christensen, and the fab Ivan Velez, Jr. in an article on New York Comic-Con! Here’s the text:

“DIVERSITY OUTREACH Creating comic books that reflect the real world is a theme that comes up often. On Friday at 11 a.m., ‘It Gets Better (With Comics)’ addresses series appropriate for lesbian, gay and bisexual teenagers. The panel discussion includes Charles Christiansen (sic), the founder of Prism Comics, a nonprofit organization that supports gay comics, creators and readers, and Ivan Velez Jr., who created the series ‘Tales of the Closet.'”
