Prism Comics at WonderCon Anaheim 2015

Prism Comics will be exhibiting, presenting panels and announcing the recipient of the 2015 Prism Comics Queer Press Grant at WonderCon Anaheim.

Prism Comics, the leading non-profit organization supporting LGBTQ comics, comics creators and readers, is once again exhibiting at WonderCon Anaheim, Friday, April 3 through Sunday, April 5. “WonderCon and Comic-Con International are very welcoming of diversity.” said Ted Abenheim, President of Prism Comics. “And we’re excited to once again be exhibiting at WonderCon Anaheim to celebrate LGBTQ comics, popular media, geek culture and cosplay.”

Prism Comics will once again be part of Bent-Con, the all LGBTQ comic and popular media convention at the Burbank Marriott Convention Center in Burbank on Friday, Nov. 7 through Sunday, Nov. 9.

Prism will be selling a wide selection of comics and books from indie creators and major publishers at their double-sized Booth B07.

Queer Press Grant 2014 Now Open!

LOS ANGELES, CA – Prism Comics, the leading non-profit organization supporting LGBT comics, graphic novels, comics creators and readers, has announced the opening of submissions for the 2014 Prism Comics Queer Press Grant, Prism’s annual grant to LGBT comics self-publishers. The deadline for proposals is Monday, September 1, 2014. The Award is to be announced at the Alternative Press Expo in San Francisco October 4-5, 2014.

If you’re able to go to WonderCon Anaheim, come to our three panels devoted to “Queer Horror”, “Wild Queer Women of the Web” and “We’re Here, We’re Queer, Now What? – New Direction in LGBTQ Comics”.
